Long time no see!

I have gotten the bug to try and get my blog up and running. I am hoping I can figure out how to get a cute layout. The holidays were great even with Rob having surgery on New Year's Eve. We found out his gallbladder wasn't working on the 3oth at 3:45, called a surgeon and scheduled surgery at 4:45, and had surgery the 31st at 9:00. He did remarkably well and even went to basketball practice on the 1st. What a stud! We are in a new ward as a result of some new boundaries and the first time we were at Sunday School it turned into a debate session. Then we heard that there was more controversy the following week (we were out of town helping Kyle and Jess get settled into their new home). Yesterday we went to the other Gospel Doctrine class and it was very enjoyable. The instructor kept to the scriptures and there was no controversy. We then met with the Bishop for a get-to-know you interview and later went to a FHE group for empty-nesters (boomerangers don't count as kids at home). While at FHE, Rob got a call and we are to meet with the Stake President Tuesday night. Hmm . . . I wonder what he has in mind.
